The Department of ECE strives regularly to conduct workshops on current and upcoming programming languages. Language training sessions are run parallel to the academics, which boosts the programming skills of the students.
Seminar on wireless technologies/ 4G VoLTE has been organized by Electronics & Communication Department on 15th March 2018. During the seminar, presentation was given by technical team of Reliance Jio infocomm. In this Seminar the students get knowledge about 4G technology and modern wireless mobile transmission which is currently used by the companies.
Three days workshop on “Industrial Automation” has been organized by Electronics and Communication Department on 15 April 2018.During the workshop lectures was delivered by the technical team of I-Plus Automation which was lead by technical director Prof. Mohamad Yusuf Ansari. In this workshop the students furnished their knowledge about PLC, SCADA and CAD/CAM Designing.
The students are studying via online classes for the subject Non-Conventional Energy Resources in the current semester through National Programme on Technology Enhance Learning. This specific programme is conducted by IIT Chennai.
Department teachers and students have participated in a 5 day programme sponsored by NITTTR, Chandigarh .
This faculty development programme was sponsored by NITTTR Chandigarh. The ICT based Training course was attended by Department faculties.
